Northeast Ohio

We have a career opportunity in the Modeling and Analytics Department within Risk Management for a Data and Statistical Modeling Analyst.  The successful candidate will share responsibility for the reporting needs of the Risk Management Modeling team, assist in the administration of Third Federal's Model Risk Management program and participate in the validation of statistical and operational models used throughout the Association.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, prepare and maintain analytic tools to measure loan performance including monthly performance reports, portfolio migration analysis, delinquency roll rate analysis, etc.
  • Develop, prepare and maintain analytic tools to measure application and origination activity.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and create appropriate management reports.
  • Provide insight and interpretation of statistical and analytic results.
  • Assist in the validation of internal models surrounding performance stress testing, probability of default, loan loss severity and others.
  • Participate in the validation of the Association's use of external, third party models for behavior modeling, asset/liability management and others.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or other analytical field
  • 1 to 3 years of recent experience employed in a statistical or analytical position
  • Current experience in the development and validation of risk or financial models
  • Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and proven ability to analyze large sets of data
  • Working knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or similar packages
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven ability to prepare clear and meaningful analysis and communicate results to a wide variety of audiences
  • Knowledge of database structures, database querying tools, banking or financial experience, and/or prior programming experience is a plus
  • Willingness to participate in tasks and other projects within the Association as needed

System Administrator

We are seeking a System Administrator with strong technical skills, good customer service skills and a desire to expand those skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Administer a Microsoft Windows Server environment including Active Directory, DFS, DHCP, DNS, IIS, printing and group policy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, Citrix XenApp and VMware vSphere.
• Work trouble tickets from Service Desk application and monitor team work queue.
• Apply updates and patches to systems regularly.
• Run audit reports against server environment for audit compliance.
• Review documentation regularly, create and update when necessary.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Review daily logs, perform daily tasks and work on team projects as assigned.
• For 24 hour support, participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Support the efforts of the Tech Support team as third level support.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience in designing, implementing and maintaining a Windows Server environment.
• Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player and a willingness to lend a hand with any project.
• Excellent ability to analyze, make decisions and solve problems.
• High level of initiative and dedication also required.
Scripting knowledge with PowerShell a plus.
