Fair Lending Manager

FULL TIME

This position is responsible for the management and oversight of Third Federal’s Fair Lending Program and Community lending efforts.  This role will work with a team of associates to ensure Third Federal is meeting the credit needs of all segments of its market areas.   This role will also help build community lending outreach efforts and provide strategic direction for development of lending products.  

Job Functions:

•Lead Third Federal’s Fair Lending Committee and oversee the progress and completion of all initiatives in Third Federal’s Fair Lending program

•Use reporting and risk assessments to identify how well Third Federal’s lending products are reaching borrowers of all income levels and all demographics within our credit markets

•Review and help design community lending products and programs

•Work with Third Federal Retail associates to build our community outreach and business development efforts in low to moderate income areas and with minority borrowers.

•Interact with regulators to provide updates regarding the status and accomplishments of Third Federal’s Fair Lending program and its lending efforts for low to moderate income borrowers and communities

•Support Fair Lending training and awareness at Third Federal

Qualifications:

•Ten years of Retail Bank Management level experience with recent experience leading a Fair Lending program.

•Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple requests in a timely manner

•Knowledge of current CRA and Fair Lending regulations required

•Ability to contribute to mortgage product development and outreach strategies

•Attention to detail with effective research and analytical skills

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Ability to lead and develop associates

•Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
