Below are links to the latest updates we routinely send our Online Banking customers about a variety of online security topics.

(Special) TFS Phone Number Spoofing

Third Federal has learned that a group of telephone scammers are “spoofing” Third Federal telephone numbers. Spoofing is the act of deliberately falsifying the information transmitted to your caller ID display to disguise the true identity of a caller. The scammers are spoofing TFS telephone numbers beginning with the 216-429 and 216-441 prefixes.

Both customers and non-customers are receiving these spoofed calls. It has been reported that the caller/scammers may claim to be from Third Federal, however they are calling about a warranty or vacation. These are fraudulent calls - please don't respond to them or share any personal or account information.

Third Federal is committed to keeping our customer data and systems safe and secure. We continually monitor our systems to help ensure the security of your accounts and personal information. Even though we use various tools and security devices to secure and protect your information, your actions play a key role in the overall security of your confidential information. If you suspect fraudulent activity on your account or another person has improperly obtained access to your accounts please call Third Federal at 1-800-844-7333.

Thank you for being a Third Federal customer.
