Branch Manager (Cleveland ,Oh area)

We are looking for a Branch Manager with 5-7 years of recent experience in retail branch banking. Candidates will be current Retail Branch Managers who thrive in a team based environment and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Proven “hands on” people management skills are required. Recent Mortage Loan experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coach, train, and manage performance of branch staff.
  • Ensure branch operational integrity and compliance in all branch policies and procedures.
  • Provide consistent quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meet or exceeds established standards.
  • Ensures that team members exceed customer satisfaction expectations and demonstrate Third Federal’s values.
  • Participate in branch functions and community activities to promote bank’s image and growth. Responsible for communicating and implementing changes to policies and procedures. Carefully applies policies and procedures while granting exceptions.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
  • 5 years of recent experience managing a retail branch bank.
  • 5 years of recent experience taking conventional Mortgage Loan applications (purchase, construction/perm, refinance).
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Proven leadership qualities with strong ability to supervise and instruct.
  • Proven track record in meeting objectives, ability to meet deadlines: ability to manage to multiple objectives.
  • Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel, and Automated Mortgage Application Software.

NOTE: The position requires recent Retail Branch Management experience and Mortgage experience, this is not a Mortgage Originator position.

Quality Control Analyst (Mortgage Loans)

This position is responsible for conducting post-closing quality control audits on mortgage loan files for completeness and accuracy within the guidelines set forth by Third Federal.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a post-close quality control review of mortgage loan files for completeness, accuracy and compliance with secondary market guidelines
  • Review and interpret re-verification documents with respect to potential misrepresentation and/or fraud
  • Construct summary and detailed reports that provide feedback to management identifying areas of deficiency, fraud and/or non-compliance with policy
  • Follow-up to verify corrective action has been taken on reported items
  • Mentor additional QC team members and assist with their development

 Requirements:

  • 7 or more years of recent experience in the residential mortgage industry
  • 5 or more years of experience performing post-closing quality control reviews (to Fannie Mae Standards) on residential mortgage loans
  • Must have recent knowledge  and experience with Fannie Mae policies, procedures, guidelines and risk assessment tools
  • Strong analytic and project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work closely with associates at all levels both in small groups and in a team environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel software skills   

This is a full-time position located at our Main Office on East 71st & Broadway.
