Back in 1938, my parents built Third Federal on several promises – to be a safe haven for customers’ deposits and home loans. To help Americans achieve the dream of homeownership. To be strong, stable and safe in the face of economic uncertainty.
Seventy-five years later, we are proud to continue that legacy.
Our dedication to our values of love, trust, respect and a commitment to excellence; and out mission of helping people achieve the dream of homeownership and financial security while creating value for our customers, our communities, our associates and our stockholders; allows us to focus on doing what’s right for our customers. And, nothing makes us more proud than to have customers refer their friends and family to us, knowing our associates will help find a mortgage that is right for their situation – not just one that makes sense for Third Federal’s bottom line.
In today’s competitive environment, we continue seek ways to expand our business, attract new customers and extend our reach into new markets. It’s an important strategy for us and for our stockholders as we balance the need to grow while prudently managing our company and our capital.
Finally, our commitment to our neighborhoods is as strong as ever. We continue our work with our community partners to bring financial education and housing assistance to those who need it most. After all, giving back to our communities and having a social conscience are as important to us as our bottom line.
