Upgrade to Primary Banking System
Third Federal is upgrading its primary banking system in July 2026. This important update will help us serve you better now and in the future.
In order to complete the upgrade, most services and systems will be unavailable Saturday, July 18 through Monday, July 20. Including:
- Online account openings will NOT be available after 3:00 pm ET on Friday, July 17.
- Online and mobile banking, Personal MoneyLine and other systems will NOT be available after 6:00 pm ET on Friday, July 17.
- Third Federal branches, mortgage loan offices and our Customer Care call center will NOT be open Saturday, July 18 through Monday, July 20.
Please take these steps on or before Friday, July 17:
Make deposits by the following deadlines:
- Mobile: Before 4:00 pm on Friday, July 17.
- Branch: Before 6:00 pm on Friday, July 17.
Visit a branch if necessary
- Complete any in-branch transactions during the week and before 6:00 pm on Friday, July 17. Branches and mortgage loan offices will not be open on Saturday, July 18 through Monday, July 20.
- Online Banking will not be available after 6:00pm on Friday, July 17 through Monday, July 20.
Make any necessary transfers
- You will not be able to manually transfer funds Saturday, July 18 through Monday, July 20. Recurring transfers that have been previoulsy scheduled during this time will be processed on Monday, July 20.

The following items WILL be available for use during the system upgrade:
- Debit/equity cards
- ATMs for cash withdrawals only
- Previously scheduled automatic deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments will process normally.
- Online mortgage preapprovals and applications
Customers should plan for the following items to NOT be available during the system upgrade:
- Branches and mortgage loan offices
- Customer Care call center
- Phone and email support
- Online and mobile banking
- Personal MoneyLine
Tuesday, July 21
Upgrade Complete - Banking Services Resume
Third Federal branches and mortgage loan offices will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday, July 21. Customer care call center and email support will be open starting at 8:30 a.m. Additionally, online and mobile banking and Personal MoneyLine will be available for use starting on Tuesday, July 21.
