Helping our customers 

We understand that this is an unprecedented time in our country and our world. Third Federal is here to support you. Listed below are different ways we are adjusting to meet your needs.

For CD, savings and checking account customers:
We are temporarily waiving debit card/ATM fees and monthly service fees on our savings and checking accounts.

For customers who use our Mobile Banking App:
We have temporarily increased the daily remote deposit limit, via mobile check deposit, to $5,000, and the monthly limit to $10,000.

Help with loan payments:
You may be eligible for a loan concession if you cannot make your Third Federal loan payment. 
If you are having trouble paying your loan, please visit our Servicing Help Center to learn about our mortgage assistance programs.

Suspension of foreclosure program:
We are not initiating any new foreclosure actions, specific to residential properties unless required by federal or government agencies. This suspension of foreclosure actions will take place through December 31, 2020.

Alternatives to branch banking (revised 4/7/2020)

We can’t wait to see customers in our branches again. Eventually.  For now, let us help you in other ways:

Account Deposits Simply drop your deposit in the secure Depository outside your local branch, and we will mail you a receipt. Or, with our Third Federal Mobile App, take a photo of your check and deposit it from home.

CD Rollovers, Account Opening/Closing, and Funds Transfer Call your local branch, and we will roll over a CD, open or close an account, or transfer funds between accounts over the phone.

Loan Payments Simply drop your payment in the secure Depository outside your local branch, and we will mail you a receipt. Or, mail your payment to us at:   PO Box 94974, Cleveland, OH 44101-4974.

Loan Applications Call your local branch, and we will assist you with your application over the phone. 

Account Information Available through our automated Personal MoneyLine at 1-888-521-5512.

Online Banking Available hereLearn more about online banking. Access your accounts 24/7, transfer funds, make loan payments, set up text or email alerts, view and print account statements, and more! 

For everyone’s health and safety, please limit your visits inside our branches to only when absolutely necessary. We can service most of your banking needs in other ways, as listed above. We look forward to the day we can safely help you again inside our branches.

How we are adapting to serve you

Branches:
We are complying with all mandates from the Governor of Ohio’s office and disseminating those mandates for all of our branch locations.

We have adjusted our branch lobby hours and have taken precautions in our branches and offices to keep everyone as safe as possible during this time.

The first hour of each day, from 9am-10am EDT, lobby hours are reserved for the elderly and vulnerable population. 

While our lobby hours are limited, our branch associates are still available to assist you by phone from 9am-4pm EDT Monday-Thursday; 9am-6pm EDT Friday ; 9am-1pm EDT Saturday. 

We ask for the safety of all, when you come into a branch, please practice social distancing, maintaining six feet between you and other customers, as well as our associates.

Our Customer Care department is available regular business hours, from 8:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday; 8:30am-6pm EDT Friday; 8:30am-1:30pm EDT Saturday. Due to an increase in call volume, hold times with Customer Care may be longer than expected. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Online Banking and Personal Moneyline:
We have options for our customers to transact with us if you feel uncomfortable coming into a branch. Customers with Online Banking can access their accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at thirdfederal.com. Customers can obtain account balances by calling our Personal Moneyline at 1-888-521-5512. Accounts can be opened by phone or online, and if you have any questions, or concerns, you can contact Customer Care at 1-800 THIRD FED (844-7333) or by secure email in Online Banking.
