In late March, Third Federal was named to the Best Workplaces in Financial Services for 2019 list by Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine.

The list was based on our associates’ own comments about how they feel about the work they do and the direction of our company.

I am honored and humbled that they think so much of Third Federal because they are the foundation of our success.

Our associates are the reason we are able to fulfill our mission of helping our customers achieve the American dream of homeownership and financial security, and they are the reason we are able to help so many people in the communities we serve.

We do more with less at Third Federal. We have 1/3 fewer the number of associates than other institutions our size, but we work just as hard, and I’ll say we work even harder.

In the survey, 97% of our associates said they are proud to tell others they work here.

I am proud. Proud of our associates because they live our value system of love, trust, respect, a commitment to excellence, and fun. Proud because we are a company that also cares for the communities we serve, especially the Slavic Village neighborhood where we were founded and are still headquartered today.

And I am proud because we continue to do what is best for our customers, resulting in great rates for our customers and continued success for our company.
