Eighty years ago, my parents Ben and Gerome Stefanski founded Third Federal on their honeymoon. Back then, Franklin Roosevelt was President, a gallon of gasoline was 11-cents, and the average cost of a home in the United States was $3,900.

A lot has changed in the years since Third Federal has been in business, but what hasn’t changed is our mission to help people achieve the American dream of home ownership while supporting the communities we serve. Today, we lend across the country, but we’re just as committed to that mission, and to Cleveland, too.

This year, as we mark our 80th anniversary, Third Federal has never been stronger. Of course, we couldn’t have done it without the love and support from you - our customers and communities, as well as the hard work and dedication of our associates.

On behalf of the entire Stefanski family, thank you for your trust in us. And to our associates and communities, thank you for eight decades of making Third Federal a unique and magical place.
