Message from Marc

One of my favorite stories is about starfish.

The sand along a beach was filled with hundreds of starfish. A boy was standing on the beach, throwing them back in the water, one at a time. A man came across the boy, and said, “What are you doing? There are too many starfish here. Tossing one back isn’t going to make a difference.” The boy looked at the man, and then down at the starfish in his hand, and replied, “Well, it will make a difference to this one,” and then he tossed it back into the ocean.

The events of the last few weeks have reminded me that doing or saying something kind, no matter how seemingly small, can make a positive difference. I hope the story reminds you of that.
